If Apple wants to make a better iPad in 2021, they’ll need to make the following hardware upgrades and make iPadOS 15 more like the Mac. Here are my top iPad and iPadOS 15 predictions for 2021:

02:53 Fix mouse support – at the moment the mouse mimics your finger. There are many times you want to do more advanced things where touch input is not needed. You want to be able to use iPadOS like macOS sometimes. At the moment the iPad keeps fighting you to do it their way.

At the moment I can only work for a short while on the iPad before I need to go back to the Mac. And sometimes the problem is so small that it feels shameful that the iPad can’t do it yet. iPadOS needs to break free from its iOS roots
