Historically, MacOS has been considered extremely secure or even not vulnerable to attacks at all. Unfortunately, one of the things that you learn in the cyber security career field is that everything has vulnerabilities even if they are not widely known. A recent article released talking about malware specifically targeted at Apple computers motivated this video. This is a growing concern because if attackers are starting to focus effort on Apple computers, we too must allocate more attention to securing them.
Join me as we talk about the recent trend from cybercriminals targeting MacOS and Apple computers. We cannot rely on Apple to protect our environments and we must begin to focus on all of our network-connected systems.
