This video will show you Exactly how to root your android using ADB tools and Magisk manager
You must unlock the bootloader to root android
Steps to Unlock the bootloader ( Not For Xiaomi devices):
1) Enable OEM unlock and USB Debugging on the targeted Android device.
2) Now connect android device to the pc
3) Now open platform-tools on your pc.

4) Open Command Prompt here.
Enter the following commands in command prompt
i) adb – to start ADB tools
ii) adb devices – to show all the connected devices to pc (Must allow the USB debugging to detect the device)
iii) adb reboot bootloader – to enter fastboot mode on the device
iv) fastboot devices – to detect the device on fastboot mode
v) fastboot oem unlock – to display some instructions on android screen
— follow the instructions on android screen to unlock the bootloader
— Unlocking the bootloader void the warranty of your android device
vi) fastboot reboot – to reboot android device
— Unlocking the bootloader performs the Factory Reset.
After Unlocking the bootloader:
i) Download Stock ROM or Firmware of your android and extract it.
— Download here: https://firmwarefile.com/
ii) Now copy the ‘boot’ image from firmware folder on your stock ROM and paste it on your android device
iii) On your android device Download and install ‘Magisk Manager’ application
iv) Open ‘Magisk Manager’ then
— Click Install Option beside ‘Magisk is not installed’
— Click on Install and then click on ‘Select and patch a file’
— Navigate to the folder where you copied the boot image
— select the boot image file
— Magisk Manager will download the required files and will generate patched boot image (‘magisk-patched.img’)
— Wait for some time until the process completed.
— Now copy the Patched boot image and paste it on your pc.
v) Now connect your android device to pc
1) Enable OEM unlock and USB Debugging on the targeted Android device.
2) Now connect android device to the pc
3) Now open platform-tools on your pc.

4) Open Command Prompt here.
Enter the following commands in command prompt
i) adb – to ADB tools
ii) adb devices – to show all the connected devices to pc (Must allow the USB debugging to detect the device)
iii) adb reboot bootloader – to enter fastboot mode on the device.
iv) fastboot devices – to detect the device on fastboot mode.
v) fastboot flash boot (complete path of the patched boot image on pc) – Check video at 8:02.
— ADB tools will flash the patched boot image on your android device.
vi) fastboot reboot – to reboot your android device
vii) Download and install ‘Root checker’ and verify the ROOT access
