How to downgrade from macOS Monterey (to Big Sur and earlier macOS)

So, to downgrade from Monterey:

1. Change the security settings ( for Macs with T2 chip or Apple silicon)
Check whether your Mac has a T2 chip:

2. Create a bootable installer of Big Sur
Download macOS Big Sur installer here: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/macos-big-sur/id1526878132?mt=12

Terminal command you’ll need:
sudo /Applications/Install macOS Big Sur.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia –volume /Volumes/BigSurInstaller

3. Erase your Mac’s startup disk
4. Reinstall Big Sur
