Why is Intel i9 BEATING the M1 Max MacBook in THIS test?

Come hang out and help with this enigma. For some reason, this in browser JavaScript test runs faster on the Intel Core i9 MacBook Pro than on the M1 Max MacBook Pro. Both Chrome and Safari have this interesting issue. Comment down below if you know what’s going on.
