Apple M1 Mac Mini: 2 Months Later Review! (Windows User Perspective)

Having used the M1 Mac Mini for close to 2 months, it was time I had my say on how good of a machine this is. With the M1 processor, there has been plenty of talk about benchmarks and performance and the short answer is that the device lives up to all expectations very well.

As someone who is able to adapt to various workflows and revolves around creating content, the device is one of the most refined experiences out there, especially for the price. Not just this, if you are someone who primarily uses Apple based software, the machine just might be the best pairing you can have. However, for Intel based and GPU driver programs, the M1 Mac Mini sounds like a pass, at least until we see more optimized ARM based programs from major developers.

While the Mac Mini impresses on many fronts thought, there are a few drawbacks to the machine which have also been discussed in this video. But as someone who came from the Windows ecosystem, macOS has left me thoroughly impressed and excited for what is to come from Apple, at least when it comes to computers.
