Let’s go over the applications supported natively by the Apple Silicon M1 Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, and Mac Mini. You can check every Apple Silicon supported application and how far away each of these applications are from being Apple Silicon M1 ready (link is below).
Apple silicon is a very powerful tool. Apple took the ARM architecture and put it in their new MacBook pro and Macbook Air, as well as the mac mini. With the new ARM MacBook and ARM mac mini, Apple has seen significant gains in performance against the Intel-based MacBook Pro and MacBook air counterparts. Check the website below to see which apps are running the Intel version of the software with x86 architecture converted using Rosetta 2, and which applications are supported natively by Apple Silicon M1. The new age of computing is here, the M1 chip and in the future the M1X and the M2 chips will change how we think about computing performance and what size of computers we need to achieve that performance.
