Is The Mac Studio Worth The Money?

Apple launched the Mac Studio, an impressively powerful new Mac computer. The Mac Studio is more on the professional side, as it has a utilitarian design, with many practical ports.

The problem is that this computer is not cheap, not when compared to the first round of M1 computers. Although, when compared to the historical price of Macintosh computers, or even the current price of the Mac Pro, the new Mac Studio looks quite competitive.

This video takes a pragmatic look at the new Mac. While the new M1 Ultra chip is 5x more powerful than a 27″ iMac for video editing, the M1 Ultra is about 5x more expensive than what I want to spend on a computer. $4000 for the base model of the M1 Ultra is a lot of money! Even with the less expensive M1 Max, the Mac Studio is $2000. Is it worth it?
