#icaveanswers – an update to the M1 Max/Pro MacBook Pros was missing from Gurman’s list of new macs in 2022 – suggesting an 18 month cycle for the max/pro m-series chips – akin to the x/bionic extensions to a-series chips (not every a-series chip got an x/bionic extension). Otherwise we will be getting M1 max quads two years after M1 base, around the release of m3 base.

#iCaveAnswers I find it hard to believe that Apple’s next iMac Pro will only be 27″” . I have used a 32″ display for years and there is no way I could go back to a 27″ display, no matter how good it is. If they released just an updated 27″ iMac as a new iMac then OK, but don’t call it a Pro. For that they need to release a larger display like 34″ or 36″. 27″ displays were good 10 years ago, but not now.
