The new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max has a HUGE camera issue. The 48MP sensor’s OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) seems to go haywire and starts shaking in some 3rd party apps like Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
If you have an iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max, let me know if you’ve experienced the issue and how far away you have to hold your iPhone before it locks onto text (in focus) on your MacBook’s screen.
The iPhone 14 Pro’s 48MP camera is different than other camera systems and does need to be further from the subject to get an auto-focus lock, however 6 inches seems a bit excessive. Let me know what you get after you try the experiment.
Apple says there will be a fix (software update) next week to fix the camera going crazy and shaking.
