Apple’s WWDC 2020 – iOS 14, iPadOS 14, MacOS, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iMac, AirPods Studio & Much More
Apple’s 31st annual worldwide developers’ conference takes place on Monday, June 22. WWDC is primarily a software event, where Apple reveals new versions of its softwares for eg. iOS, iPadOS, macOS, WatchOS that run on its various devices. It is typically an in-person event, but this year the conference is an online-only due to the coronavirus outbreak. Nevertheless, the week-long conference is still taking place. where we can expect lots of big announcements. So what’s new coming this year ? Let’s figure out in today’s video.
First on our list is iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. More than anything else, WWDC is an event at which Apple will announce new operating systems and tell developers how to make apps that take advantage of their new features. This year we will be getting all new iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 for our iPhones and iPads. We’ve heard a lot of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 rumors already. The most interesting feature about this new software is the potential for some significant changes to the home screen, including widgets.
In addition to iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, we expect to see Apple announcing software updates for Apple Watch, Mac and Apple TV. For Apple Watch, Apple will release watchOS 7 which will bring new parental controls, new watch features and blood oxygen monitoring, among others. Perhaps the most anticipated feature of watchOS 7 will be sleep tracking. The new “Sleep” app would use various sensors in the Apple Watch to track sleep habits and improve the quality of the sleep.
As far as the new version of macOS is concerned, there is not much information available at the moment. Meanwhile, tvOS got a major overhaul last year with features like multi-user support.
