Apple’s M1 Chip: What Does it Mean for Product and UX Designers?



There have been some exciting new developments from Apple. Firstly they replaced their reliance on Intel to deliver the chips, the second is them producing their own Apple silicon M1 Chip for the new line of Macbook Air, Macbook Pro and Mini devices. While the architecture is exciting, there’s another massive takeaway all product designers, user experience specialists and app developers out there need to know and prepare for. I’ll also cover some of the exciting bits to do with the new Big Sur OS.
