An Inside Look At Apple’s New M1 Chip
In today’s video, let’s have an inside look at the fastest CPU made by Apple. Apple has been constantly raising the bar when it comes to putting out innovative products and features that will make people’s lives easier. One of their latest creations is the M1 chip and Apple has just given details of the M1 chip that will power the next generation of Mac products.
The Arm-based 5nm System on Chip (SoC) features an 8-core CPU, 8 GPU cores, a 16 core neural coprocessor, and an updated secure enclave. The SoC is “by far the highest performance CPU ever created,” and Apple says the M1 features four high-performance “Firestorm” CPU cores and four efficient “Icestorm” cores.
