My iPhone Says Searching! Here’s Why & The Real Fix.

Two Apple experts explain why your iPhone says “Searching…” and show you how to fix the issue for good. A lot of people just assume their iPhone is broken and head to their local Apple Store or wireless carrier store.

However, a lot of the time your iPhone says Searching… because of a software problem. Turn your iPhone off and back on, then check for a carrier settings update. You should also try ejecting and reinserting your iPhone’s SIM card. If all else fails, reset the network settings.
