Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 Review – The first ‘foldable’ that you do want to have?

A smartphone with a foldable screen sounds ideal: a nice big screen for on the go that does not take up impractical space in your pocket. Moreover, innovative, at a time when new smartphones are increasingly similar and innovation at first glance seems to have almost come to a standstill. Foldables bring the tension back again, with a new trick that even the non-connoisseur is still looking forward to. But when the first foldable devices were actually introduced, smartphone enthusiasts awoke roughly from that dream for the future. For example, the release of Samsung’s first folding smartphone, the Galaxy Fold, went down in the soup when the first review samples broke within a few days. Even when the device appeared on the market after hasty improvements, the ‘most innovative phone in years’ was not really ready for a wide audience. After the somewhat difficult start, Samsung has continued to develop new folding devices. In February, for example, the Galaxy Z Flip was presented, a ‘folding phone’ that, just like the classic devices with keys, becomes smaller when you close it. The Galaxy Fold, on the other hand, has more or less the dimensions of a normal smartphone when closed, where you can open the device to the size of a small tablet. Just six months later, the Galaxy Z Flip then got a 5G variant, whereby the new Galaxy Z Fold2 also saw the light of day on the same day. More Tweakers: • Watch all our videos:
