Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron's Specs, Price and Release Date

Audi finally unveiled the sports variant of the electric compact SUV Q4 e-tron. The 2021 Audi Sportback will also deliver up to 306 hp. The Q4 e-tron Sportback brings style to the class of compact SUVs.

With the Sportback, Audi has presented the coupe version of the Q4 E-Tron as a concept car. The two technically almost identical electric SUVs are due to go on sale in 2021.

2021 Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron’s specs.

Audi says that the Q4 Sportback e-tron concept is equipped with two electric motors — resulting in an all-wheel-drive system with a total power output of 225 kW. The company is talking about acceleration from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h (111 mph).

An 82 kWh battery pack powers the vehicle for up to 450 km (280 miles) based on the WLTP standard, according to Audi. The German automaker says that the concept’s powertrain is representative of what will be offered in “the top-of-the-range engine line-up of the coming series production model.”

There will be three battery sizes in different combinations with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive. The top model is the Q4 e-tron S with an all-wheel drive and 306 hp.

While the Q4 E-Tron is designed as a classic SUV in a compact version, the Coupé version of the Q4 E-Tron Sportback should appear more dynamic and sleek. The dimensions of the two Q4 models are also almost identical. Nevertheless, the Sportback version is supposed to look much more stretched than the classic Q4 E-Tron. According to Audi, this is due to the “subtle and dynamic” sloping Sportback silhouette. Audi also uses heavily inclined D-pillars and a horizontal spoiler.

From the outside, the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron undoubtedly has a futuristic appearance, but it’s still a concept. The roofline is descending, encompasses the C-pillars, and is connected to the small rear spoiler: At the rear, a thin LED line connects the light clusters and the diffuser, surrounded by four horizontal stripes above which the backlit e-tron logo stands out.

I am impressed with this 2021 Q4 Sportback e-tron and its specs. I am particularly impressed by the beauty of the design. Audi designers always do a great job designing beautiful cars. In one of my previous reports I pointed out that if Tesla technology is matched with Audi design, the result would be an electric vehicle in very high demand.

Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron is expected to be released in 2021. I am looking forward to an affordable good-quality electric SUV in 2021. Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron will be priced to about $45,000 or less than 40,000 euros.
