This afternoon, TCL held a Mini LED strategy launch. At the meeting, TCL Electronics CEO Zhang Shaoyong announced that TCL’s sub-brand Thunderbird launched the first smart phone-Thunderbird FF1.
It is understood that Thunderbird FF1 will start pre-sale at 16:00 on September 6th, and will be available for online and offline omni-channel sales at 10:00 on September 10th, with 8+128G version and 8+256G version available. The prices are respectively 2499 yuan and 2799 yuan.
In terms of display, Thunderbird FF1 is equipped with a 6.67-inch face-to-face screen, with a “pill” punching solution on the left, an ultra-narrow bezel design, and a screen-to-body ratio of up to 94.7%. The screen also supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
In terms of battery life, the machine has a built-in 4300mAh high-capacity battery that can support 7.9 hours of online gaming, 9.1 hours of online video viewing, or 24.9 hours of talking.
In addition, Thunderbird FF1 supports 66W flash charge. According to the official, it can charge 60% in 17 minutes and 100% in 40 minutes.
For imaging capabilities, Thunderbird FF1 uses a centered matrix lens module design, is equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera, and uses an f/1.7-inch outsole sensor to ensure sufficient light input. It also comes with a 4cm independent macro lens and 120° f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle lens.
In addition, the machine also supports intelligent shooting modes such as HDR portrait, AI beauty, 120° super wide-angle and anti-distortion algorithm, which can meet the needs of users for full-scene shooting.
It should be noted that the official has not announced the processor parameters of this machine, and the network transmission is from the Dimensity 900 platform of MediaTek.
At the press conference, Zhang Shaoyong said that the TCL Mini LED strategic layout includes the strategic layout of the entire Mini LED industry chain + mastering the core leading technology of Mini LED + the global layout of Mini LED production capacity + multi-brand domestic and overseas Mini LED product line layout + Mini LED industry Top leading teams and other aspects.
It is planned that the penetration rate of Mini LEDs in TCL’s large-size sales will exceed 60% in the next three years.
