NVIDIA today unveiled the long-awaited GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card, which will make real-time ray tracing available to a much wider range of users. As a basis for this material, we took the reviews of Tom’s Hardware and AnandTech resources . In both cases, reference versions of the GeForce RTX 2060 Founders Edition were tested. Disassembly of this video card showed that it completely repeats the reference GeForce RTX 2070 FE, only two memory chips are missing to the right of the GPU, as a result of which there is 6 GB of memory instead of eight. Recall that the new product uses the Turing TU106 graphics processor in a configuration with 1920 CUDA cores and 30 RT cores, which operates at clock frequencies of 1365/1680 MHz.
