XAPK, OBB, SPLIT APK application updates are more often used in Google play store, Aurora Store, APK Pure, Petal search etc. Although Huawei developers are able to use this approach harmony os 2 with hms, app gallery has not accommodated this method. Thus installed updates may crash given it does not have access to required components. The AAB installer will not work in harmony os 2 unless you have native gms installed. There are other apk installers that accommodate split apk’s. This video offers a temporary solution. Do your own research and find additional solutions.
