Hello,
Please watch this entire video before attempting repair.
This video shows the simplest way to replace the ipad mini 5 screen. The ipad 5 screen is know to be sensitive to damage and develop lines in the display. If yours is cracked and the glass is shattered please be extra careful removing the screen and use thick gloves with eye protection.
Tools needed:
-Heat gun (blow dryer works)
-Size 00 phillips screwdriver
-Thin metal pry tool (I used a dull razor)
-Plastic pry tool
-Replacment screen
-Super glue for the home button bracket (just a little dab)
-Glue or double sided tape (if replacement screen does not come with pre applied tape)
