Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S22 series, which will come out in early 2022, will be divided into Exynos 2200 version using its own processor and Snapdragon 898 version using Qualcomm processor if there are no accidents.
Previously, foreign media has disclosed the Exynos 2200 version of the Galaxy S22+ running scores, and the Qualcomm version of the running scores has also been released on “Geekbench”. In line with previous predictions, the results show that the Qualcomm version of the Galaxy S22+ has a lower score than the Samsung Exynos 2200 version.
According to the foreign media “GSM Arena”, the Galaxy S22+ model of Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 will be launched in the United States. The running score information shows that the processor uses Cortex-X2 high-performance core (maximum clock is 3.0GHz), A710 mid-sized core ( The highest clock is 2.5GHz) and A510 power saving core (the highest clock is 1.8GHz).

The running score shows that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 898 processor scored 1163 points for single-core and 2728 points for multi-core on the Galaxy S22+, which is a bit lower than the Exynos 2200 version. However, due to heat dissipation and power consumption limitations, the Qualcomm version of the Galaxy S22+ has a running score. It is also lower than the Galaxy Tab S8+ tablet equipped with the same processor (1211 points for single core and 3193 points for multi-core).
Since Qualcomm will not release the Snapdragon 898 processor until November 30th, there is still room for correction in the currently disclosed running scores. Through the correction and optimization of drivers and mobile phones, in fact, the final performance results of Qualcomm’s Galaxy S22+ may be in 2022. It has improved since its launch in 2016. Foreign media believe that the Qualcomm version may still be unable to beat the Exynos 2200 version equipped with AMD RDNA2 display technology in terms of GPU display performance.
