Two Apple experts explain what to do when your #iPhone #ringer is not working.
First, check the Ring / Silent switch. Make sure it’s pulled toward the screen, which sets your iPhone to ring.
Next, head to the Sounds & Haptics settings and turn up the volume of the ringer. If you want to be able to set the ringer volume using the volume buttons on the left side of your iPhone, turn on the switch next to Change With Buttons.
Check to see if Do Not Disturb is on. Do Not Disturb silences incoming calls and other notifications.
While you’re in the Settings app, make sure your iPhone isn’t connected to any Bluetooth devices. If your iPhone is connected to a Bluetooth device, it could be ringing there and not on your iPhone!
The last step you can take to rule out a software problem is a Reset All Settings. This erases everything in the Settings app and restores it to factory defaults.
