DxOMark announced Huawei P40 Pro screen test results: 85 points surpassing iPhone 11 Pro Max

A few days ago, the evaluation agency DxOMark announced the P40 Pro’s screen score, which scored 85 points.

Although this score is slightly behind the 89 points of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and 87 points of iPhone 12 Pro, it is slightly ahead of the 84 points of iPhone 11 Pro Max.

DxO even mentioned in the evaluation summary that after turning on the blue light filter (eye protection mode), it performs slightly better than the iPhone 12 Pro.

DxO pointed out that the advantage of the P40 Pro screen is that the color performance of still images is generally good, the performance is excellent in the sports test, and it stands out: the phone can control motion blur very well, and it can also play video instantly.

Of course, the P40 Pro’s screen also has some shortcomings. DxO mentioned that its screen display effect is too dark and looks uncomfortable under indoor and outdoor conditions. The touch performance was somewhat reluctant, and some points were deducted due to prominent notches and poor handling of aliasing artifacts.
