According to the latest report of research firm Canalys, the global mobile phone sales in the fourth quarter of 2021, Apple iPhone is still the champion, but the gap with the second place has been greatly reduced.
Canalys pointed out that the best-selling iPhone in the fourth quarter was still the Apple iPhone, which accounted for 22% of the market. The second place was Samsung with 20%, followed by Xiaomi (12%), Oppo (9% including OnePlus), and vivo (8%).

Compared with the performance in the fourth quarter of 2020, Apple fell by 1%, and Samsung increased by 3% in one breath, so that the gap between the two sides is now only 2%. Canalys analyst Sanyam Chaurasia pointed out that the outstanding performance of the iPhone 13 has brought Apple back to the sales leader, but it was forced to cut production due to a shortage of parts and failed to meet all market demand.
