When you hear the name Elon Musk, the first thing that comes to mind is a billionaire entrepreneur with the space exploration venture SpaceX and Tesla, his electric car company. Some people may just know him for being among the richest people on Earth. However, have you ever heard of his venture known as Starlink?
Believe it or not, Starlink aims to provide internet connection to almost every person on the planet by expanding the private satellite network orbiting overhead. In January 2021, after 3 years and dozens of successful launches, Starlink had over 1000 satellites orbiting overhead. Just one year later, Starlink has surpassed over 2000 satellites delivered into orbit.
