Last week, Qualcomm officially released the latest generation of its top flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8+, at Snapdragon Night.
The chip is built with TSMC’s 4nm process. Compared with the previous Snapdragon 8, it can bring stronger performance and power consumption. Both the CPU and GPU can be improved by 10%, making the overall experience stronger.
At the press conference, Xiaomi President Wang Xiang also appeared in person, and announced that Xiaomi would be the first to release this new chip. Based on the current news, it should be a super-sized Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra model.
According to the latest news from the well-known blogger @Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8+ model suspected of Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra will start mass production in early June and arrive as scheduled in July.
It is worth mentioning that, in addition to being the first to carry Snapdragon 8+, Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra may also hope to carry two self-developed small chips at the same time, and realize the blessing of self-developed technology in both charging and imaging.
At present, it has been revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra will use a 120W single-cell fast charge, which will be realized by relying on the Pengpai P1 chip.
In terms of taking pictures, some big guys have already found the information of the Surging C2 ISP in the relevant code of the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra.
