Nvidia’s Lovelace RTX 4080 & AMD’s RDNA 3 Based Radeon RX 7900 XT have their release dates slated for 2022, and the leaks are pointing to some seriously powerful GPUs that have many gamers excited. One thing most people don’t mention about the RTX 4080 and RDNA 3 GPUs however is the features these GPUs will have. One big feature that should be coming to both next generation GPUs is DisplayPort 2.0. DP 2.0 should allow for over 2x the bandwidth of DisplayPort 1.4 and far more than HDMI 2.1 allowing for new displays with giant resolutions and framerates to be produced with Nvidia’s Gsync modules.
