Since the birth of the surging chip, this series has successively released a number of chips such as surging S1, surging C1, surging P1, among which S1 is a mobile phone processor, C1 is an image chip, and P1 is a charging chip.

Among them, the P1 was first launched by the Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro, and Lei Jun said that “P1 fills the gap in the industry”.

Mi 12 Pro

Specifically, the Surging P1, as the industry’s first resonant charging chip, has a 4:1 ultra-high-efficiency architecture with adaptive switching frequency. The resonant topology efficiency is as high as 97.5%, the non-resonant topology efficiency is 96.8%, and the heat loss plummets by 30%.

At the same time, the Pengpai P1 is also Xiaomi’s 4:1 charging chip with the highest charging efficiency, which can achieve an ultra-high power density of 0.83W/mm², and LDMOS also achieves an industry-leading ultra-low 1.18mΩmm² RSP.

With the help of P1, Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro has achieved a single-cell 120W super-second charge. Compared with the 120W fast charge on the previous Mi 10 Extreme Edition, the Mi 12 Pro’s single-cell 120W second charging solution is faster and saves more internal space.

This time, Xiaomi is about to bring an upgraded version of Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro, called Xiaomi Mi 12S Pro. The phone supports 120W wired flash charging. It is expected that the Pengpai P1 chip will also be used. The new product will debut on July 4.
