Through APP decompilation, MIUI 14 surfaced in the code base a few days ago. What’s even more surprising is that the developers found that MIUI 14 has even begun to be tested on the Mi 13 codenamed “Nuwa” and the Mi 13 Pro codenamed “Fuxi”.
According to the latest news, the early development and test version of MIUI 14 is 22.7.19. There is even speculation that MIUI 14 will be officially announced and tested on August 16th, which is the 12th anniversary of MIUI, to prepare for the Xiaomi Mi 13 series at the end of the year.
At the same time, a list of supported models for MIUI 14 was also accidentally leaked. Of course, considering that MIUI 14 has not been officially announced, the content is for reference only.
To put it simply, from this list, it is a big regret that the old models such as Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro and Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro supported by MIUI 13 are not eligible for MIUI 14 this time, but Xiaomi Mi 10 series, Redmi Note 8/9, etc. The classic models are still listed, and with the addition of overseas POCO models, there are actually hundreds of models supported.
xiaomiui pointed out that those devices whose kernel, i.e., the underlying version, is stuck in Android 11 will be “abandoned” by MIUI 14.
