Samsung is one of Apple’s panel suppliers for the iPhone 14 series. Korean media “TheElec” reported that Samsung will provide more advanced OLED panels for the iPhone 14 Pro series.

According to reports, Samsung supplies different grades of OLEDs to Apple. The iPhone 14 Pro series adopts the latest M12 material group, and the other two basic models maintain the same M11 as the iPhone 13.
The M12 material group can not only improve the color accuracy of the panel, but also improve the luminous efficiency, thereby improving the power consumption; Samsung’s new folding machines Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will also be used this year.
In addition, the iPhone 14 Pro series will be equipped with a low temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) thin film transistor (TFT) OLED, which can reduce power consumption and support a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The iPhone 14 entry model is a low temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFT OLED.
