If u need to know how to show file extensions for the img twrp file, to say “recovery.img”, instead of just “recovery”, u need to go to Control Panel, then Folder Options, then View, then under the Advanced Settings label uncheck the option that says “hide extensions for known file types”. N this will take every single file on ur computer n add the extension to it. Like Master of Puppets.mp3 instead of Master of Puppets file label as example.
