Leak information that Apple is preparing to launch the Apple Pencil (3rd generation) was posted on Chinese social media Weibo. It may be announced with the new iPad at the April 20th event.

Weibo user Uncle Pan posted, “I’ve heard that Apple is preparing to launch a third-generation Apple Pencil. Stay tuned,” along with the alleged “AirPods 3” photo.
The image of the Apple Pencil (3rd generation) was posted on Twitter by Leaker Mr. White (@laobaiTD) in early March.
The Apple Pencil in the photo he posted isn’t the matte, flat look of the Apple Pencil (2nd generation), but features the glossy finish and round shape of the original Apple Pencil.
Will it be announced at the event on April 20th?
If UnclePan’s information is correct, the Apple Pencil (3rd generation) could be announced at the same time as the new iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard at a special event on April 20, local time.
