Following the rise in the number of people infected with the new coronavirus in some states in the United States, 77 of the 271 Apple stores in the United States are closed again.
More than a quarter of all Apple Stores are closed again
As of July 2, local time, the stores are closed again at Apple Stores in Alabama, California, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, and Oklahoma.
An Apple spokeswoman said, “We are closing the Apple Store in some areas due to the situation of COVID-19 in the area where we have stores. While closely checking the situation, we are taking appropriate measures. We are looking forward to opening the store as soon as possible.”
Apple Stores other than the 77 closed stores can only receive items ordered online and Genius support within the stores.
All Japanese stores open
All Apple stores in Japan are open as of July 3rd.
