On July 31, local time, Apple began offering the new “Apple Gift Card.” The “App Store & iTunes Gift Card” and “Apple Store Gift Card” can be integrated and used for both purchasing digital contents and purchasing hardware products. Traditional cards are still available.
Existing cards can still be used
The new Apple Gift Card, launched by Apple, can be used for both digital content and products.
Apple’s website shows an image of the card with a copy of “The gift card for everything Apple.”
The “Apple Gift Card” has a flat value type of $25, $50, and $100, and a type in which the user decides the amount and deposits it into the Apple account.
The Apple Gift Card is available in eight designs with the Apple logo and can be purchased by email or mail.
You can continue to use the traditional “App Store & iTunes Gift Cards” and “Apple Store Gift Cards”.
It is only available in the US at this time, but it is expected to be available in Japan soon.
Two types of incompatible cards
Apple has used the App Store & iTunes Gift Card to pay for digital content such as iTunes Store, App Store, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple TV+ and monthly charges, as well as purchase products at Apple Store stores and online stores We offered two types of “Apple Store Gift Cards”.
