The OS “Wear OS” for smart watches provided by Google is currently only compatible with Google Assistant, but the next OS “Wear OS 3” seems to be compatible with other voice assistants such as Samsung’s Bixby.
Does Galaxy Watch 4 support two voice assistants?
Wear OS 3 is an integration of Google’s Wear OS by Google and Samsung’s smartwatch OS “Tizen”.
Samsung is expected to install this latest OS, Wear OS 3, in the Galaxy Watch 4 series, which is expected to be announced this month, but Leaker Snoopy said that the series will be able to use not only Google Assistant but also Bixby as a voice assistant. (@_Snoopytech_) reports.

Supports “another assistant”
When US media 9to5Google analyzed the Android application package (APK), there is a reference in the Wear OS app that suggests that Google will support “alternate assistant” in wearables (eg smartwatches). Found.
com.google.android.wearable.alternate_assistant
This is the only code found at this time, but 9to5Google speculates that this “another assistant” may mean that Wear OS 3 is also compatible with Bixby.
When it comes to that, I’m worried about the possibility of supporting voice assistants other than Bixby, especially Alexa of Amazon. Alexa is now available on Fitbit.
