Earlier this week, some users shared some details about the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 on Weibo. According to them, the product will be released in 41mm and 45mm dial versions.
Now, another revelation confirms the same information with a rough photo, which shows an Apple Watch strap with the “45MM” label. However, there is no other definitive source to prove the authenticity.
For some time, we have been hearing news that Apple Watch Series 7 will have a new design, with flat edges and an updated display. However, there have been rumors recently that Apple will slightly increase the size of the Apple Watch display from 40mm and 44mm to 41mm and 45mm respectively.
However, this does not necessarily mean that the case of the Apple Watch will become larger. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said in June that the Apple Watch Series 7 display will have thinner bezels, which is consistent with rumors that the display will be slightly larger.
Before Apple Watch Series 4, Apple offered 38mm and 42mm versions of Apple Watch. Even with the new design, the old strap is still compatible with the Apple Watch Series 4 series and later versions, so this time the Apple Watch Series 7 series may also be the same.
Apple is expected to launch Apple Watch Series 7 together at the iPhone 13/Pro series conference in September.
