Amazon to end “order confirmation” distribution service on LINE in January 2021

On October 17, mail-order giant Amazon.co.jp (hereinafter referred to as Amazon) announced that it will provide an “order confirmation message” delivery service on LINE in order to avoid over-delivery from message delivery services including LINE. We announced that we will end the LINE “Order Confirmation Message” delivery service on January 1, 2021 (Friday).

Notifications via email and Amazon shopping app continue

Amazon provides a service that allows you to receive notifications such as order confirmation messages by linking the free messaging app “LINE” with your Amazon.co.jp account.

To use this service, you need to register an Amazon official account as a friend on LINE, but once you link your account, you will be notified when you purchase a product on Amazon.

On the 17th, Amazon delivered a notice to terminate the LINE “order confirmation message” delivery service to users who have registered Amazon official accounts as friends. The scheduled end date of the service is January 1, 2021 (Friday).

Even after the service ends, the “order confirmation message” will continue to be delivered by e-mail, and if you have not registered your e-mail address, you can use it by registering it. You can also receive notifications on the Amazon Shopping App.
