The image of the device itself was included in the rendered image of the case of the leaked Huawei’s new flagship model “Mate 40”, revealing the structure of the rear camera. Also, the image of the package is leaked.
Is it equipped with at least 5 cameras?
Huawei plans to announce the “Mate 40” series on October 22nd, but leaked images reveal a rough picture of the device.
The Mate 40 series is expected to feature Huawei’s in-house Kirin 9000 System-on-Chip (SoC), which is rumored to integrate a 5G modem, but most notably an octagonal rear camera. ..
The rear camera module is expected to have at least five cameras, and if you look at the rendered image, you can see that it contains a periscope lens in the upper right. At the bottom of the octagon, you can also see shadows that appear to be a macro camera, depth sensor, and TOF (Time of Flight) receiver module.
