HomePod software version 15 supports new HomePod features. This update also includes bug fixes and stability improvements.
- Choose one or a pair of HomePod minis as the default speakers for your Apple TV 4K to play rich, clear sound throughout your room
- Automatically display media playback controls on iPhone lock screen when HomePod mini playing music is nearby
- Bass reduction can be set to enjoy music without disturbing neighbors
- You can ask Siri to turn on your Apple TV, play your favorite movies, and control playback while you’re watching.
- Automatically adjust Siri’s voice volume based on room environment and user volume
- Ask Siri to control your smart home device at specific times, such as turning off the lights after 10 minutes
- Enable Siri voice control with compatible HomeKit accessories to extend access to your HomePod throughout your home
- Supports luggage detection with HomeKit secure video
