Apple today pushed the iOS/iPadOS 15.1 developer preview Beta4 update to iPhone and iPad users. The internal version number is 19B5068a. This update is one week after the last release.
This update officially did not specify the specific update content, but only fixed bugs and improved stability. The official update in the developer documentation also did not specify the specific content.
Previously, in the iOS 15.1 developer preview Beta2, Apple repaired the Apple Watch unlock function. Apple Watch can be used to unlock iPhone 13 models while wearing a mask.
Before the official update is launched, users can turn off “Unlock with Apple Watch” and use the device password to unlock iPhone 13. To turn off “Unlock with Apple Watch”, you need to go to “Settings”> “Face ID and Password”.
In addition, SharePlay returned in iOS 15.1, and Apple again tested the features that were deleted before the release of iOS 15. SharePlay allows users to call friends and family members, watch movies, watch TV, or listen to music together and interact.
Apple has also added features such as shared playlists and TV program synchronization to ensure that users can see the same content at the same time. SharePlay supports the built-in screen sharing function, and Apple is still fixing related bugs.
