AppleInsider reports that some users who received Apple Watch Series 7 have a problem that the third-party app icon is not displayed.
I don’t see the third party app icon
A bug discovered by Pcalc and Dice developer James Thomson is that when the app display is gridded, third-party app icons are not displayed.
However, when set to list display, it seems that only the application name is displayed while the icon is not displayed.
In addition, Thomson reports that the icon set for complications is displayed in a size different from the specified size.
As a bonus, all my complication icons are drawing at the wrong sizes too. Pic.twitter.com/iZ0tgz0NZ4

Mr. Thomson seems to have tried changing the size of the icon, but he says that the problem that the icon display part becomes blank and is not displayed will not be solved.
I added icons for the new sizes, but they are drawing blank.

Apple Watch Series 7 specific bug?
AppleInsider reports that the Xcode simulator shows the icon without any problems, and Apple Watch Series 6 and earlier models updated to watchOS 8 have no problems.
It is also considered to be a bug specific to Apple Watch Series 7, such as the bug that Face ID cannot be unlocked in combination with iPhone 13 series and Apple Watch.
