Leaker Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) posted a codename, performance, and shipping forecast for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus on Twitter.
Expected to reduce heat generation and extend battery life
According to Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), the codename “SM8475”, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, has about 10% better performance than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, has less heat generation than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and has a battery. It seems that the duration can be expected to be longer.
He expects smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus to ship in June 2022.
Prior to that, Qualcomm is likely to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus in May 2022, Notebookcheck reports.
Numbers on the SM8475 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+) are quite good. Expecting an overall 10% jump compared to 8 Gen 1. Thermals are good, chip is stable and battery life is slightly better compared to the out going model on test machines.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was manufactured by Samsung, but Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus is believed to have changed its manufacturing contract to TSMC.
