About 169 yuan, SHARGEEK released a small 35W gallium nitride “Macintosh” charger: support “smile” charging for Apple iPhone

IT House May 27 news, according to 9to5 Mac report, imagine a small Macintosh smiling at you while charging your iPhone? SHARGEEK recently plans to launch a Retro 35 GaN gallium nitride charger that can charge smartphones and laptops at high speed – very cute.

With a 35W output, this micro USB-C Macintosh-like charger is retro-inspired, likely to be widely compatible with all your devices, and offers real-time charging status.

Not only that, but users can also print free DIY stickers featuring the classic “hello” logo, a “THINK DIFFERENT” campaign, and more.

What’s more interesting about this charger is that, in addition to looking like a miniature Macintosh, it can output 35W of power and is similar in overall size to the 5W Apple charger on the iPhone.

When connected to plugs and accessories, it can display up to five different lights, which help users understand charging status:

  • White light: not charging

  • Yellow light: normal charging

  • Blue light: fast charging

  • Green light: boost charging

  • Lights out: no load for 5 minutes

As of now, SHARGEEK is crowdfunding its project through an Indiegogo campaign – and the company has surpassed its goals. Users can get this tiny Macintosh GaN charger for just $25 — or buy it for $49 at the end of the event.

Deliveries of this charger could start as early as July, but since this is a crowdfunding project, things are always changing, which means it could be delayed or even cancelled.
