A survey by an American research firm found that smartphone users use their devices for an average of 145 minutes each day and have 76 sessions. All touches, taps and swipes together make a calculation of 2,617 touches per day.
Surprisingly convincing numbers?
In 2016, Dscout installed an app that registers all touches on smartphones of about 100 Android users 24 hours a day, 5 days, and according to an analysis, smartphone users average more than 2,600 devices daily. It is said that it is touching.
“It’s a great number, but it’s also very convincing,” Ghent University’s professor of media technology innovation, Riven de Mares, told the regional magazine Knack.
