New rumors have emerged that the latest model of Apple’s HomePod smart speaker will be available as early as this fall, but samples of the product page have already been made. What kind of device will the 2nd generation HomePod with multi-touch function be?
Is it possible that the name “Max” will be adopted?
Vox Media’s product manager, Parker Ortolani (@ParkerOrtolani), created a product page for the next-generation HomePod based on rumors.

It could be named “HomePod Max” to match the AirPods lineup, Autolani said.

The next-generation HomePod has the same S8 chip as the Apple Watch, is about the same size as the original HomePod, and is expected to have better audio performance than the HomePod mini.
There were rumors that the new HomePod will go on sale in the fall of 2022, but the product name has since been removed from the list, and the timeline forecast remains unclear.
