Ross Young, CEO of DSCC, said he expects the largest model in the Apple Watch Series 8 to have a display size (diagonal length) of 1.99 inches.
Will the case diameter be 41 mm, 45 mm, or 47 mm?
Young answered a question from his followers on Twitter, saying that the largest model in Apple Watch Series 8 will have a display size (diagonal length) of 1.99 inches (about 50.5 mm).
GSMArena states that the Apple Watch Series 7’s 45mm case diameter model has a display size of 1.9 inches.
By simple calculation, if the diagonal length is increased from 1.9 inches (about 48.3 mm) to 1.99 inches (about 50.5 mm), the case diameter (nominal name) may be 47 mm.
It is rumored that the model with the largest case diameter in Apple Watch Series 8 will be the extreme sports model (Explorer Edition).
