Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo posted on Twitter that the terminals of the charging case for the AirPods series will all switch to USB-C terminals in 2023.

Switch to new products in 2023? Or just the charging case?

Kuo expects AirPods Pro (2nd generation) to be released in the second half of 2022 (July-December), and states that the charging port for this model is likely to be Lightning.

After that, it seems that the terminal of the charging case for the AirPods series will be changed to USB-C in 2023.

The 2021 model of AirPods Pro now supports the MagSafe wireless charging method.

Will the USB-C terminal be supported this time with the same model, or will AirPods (3rd generation) change to AirPods (4th generation), and will it be changed to a USB-C terminal at that time? , Kuo did not clarify.

From the iPhone 15 series to the external connection terminal of the iPhone to USB-C?

Mr. Kuo expected that the external connection terminal would shift to the USB-C terminal from the iPhone 15 series, and that other Apple products and accessories would gradually change to the USB-C terminal.
