Bloomberg’s Mark Garman predicts that Apple has been developing a foldable iPhone for about two years and will be released in a few years.
Release is more than 2 years away, price is around 300,000 yen
When asked by a reader of the Power On newsletter, “Do you think Apple will release a foldable iPhone?” Mark Garman replied, “Yes. Apple has been working on a foldable iPhone for about two years. I’m here.”
However, he adds that the launch is still some time away, probably about two years away.
Citing the design of the Samsung Galaxy Fold, which Garman himself likes, he also said that the screen of the open folding iPhone will be even larger and more attractive.
In addition, the sales price of the foldable iPhone may be in the $2,000 (about 270,000 yen) range, and the forecast is that the price will be close to 300,000 yen in Japanese yen.
Prominent analyst predicts 2025 launch
A foldable iPhone has been rumored for some time, partly because Apple has applied for several related patents.
