Recently, WeChat officially brought the 8.0.27 official version update to the iOS version. In addition to solving problems, it also brings some brand new features and content.
Includes the following updates:
1. Support to change the QR code style and add the background color of the full screen. There are 10 styles for users to choose. Open the “Scan” function in the upper right corner of WeChat, select “My QR Code” in the lower left corner, and then select “Change Style” to choose the style you like.
2. In addition to status expressions, personal status can also display text descriptions.
3. Support personal information and authority management in the official account. Users can click the official account in the communication, click the dot in the upper right corner, and select “Personal Information and Rights Management” to view.
4. Added “Consumer Protection”, including help center, security, privacy protection, agreement and publicity, consumer education and other functions. Users can view it through “Service-Wallet-Consumer Protection”.
5. Internal testing of WeChat video call floating window function (currently limited to some users). Instead of showing a black screen when switching to the background, it will display itself normally. This allows you to chat while hovering while browsing other content.
6. Improve WeChat notes. Go to WeChat – Me – Favorites, click + in the upper right corner to create a new note. In the latest version of WeChat, the undo and repeat buttons are moved to the upper right corner; the bold, bullet, coding, dividing line and to-do buttons are displayed in the function bar; text highlighting is supported; click + to display adding photos, shots, locations, files , recording; and support for voice notes.
7. Long press the video in the video account, and the new functions of “floating window” and “auto slide up” will be added to the pop-up menu. The former is to place it on the negative screen, and the latter is to automatically slide to the next video when watching a video.
8. WeChat Settings – General in the “Clear Chat History” button, the text changes to “Clear all chat history”, and a full-screen prompt will appear after clicking, reminding “The cleared chat history will not be restored, please confirm again whether to clear all personal and The chat history of the group.” The red background of the “Clear All” button is more conspicuous.
9. When WeChat is browsing the official account or webpage, press the screenshot operation, and the button of “Save the whole page as a picture” will be triggered in the lower right corner. Not just the WeChat official account, but any other webpage. After clicking the button, you can perform operations such as cropping and saving.
