Twitter user Kioriku believes that the next iPhone will support 30W charging, with “charge cycles starting at 30W or higher” and then “down to 27-25W.”

Apple’s first GaN charger, released in 2021, is a 140W USB-C power adapter for the new 16-inch MacBook Pro. GaN technology enables smaller, lighter and more energy-efficient chargers than silicon-based chargers.
